The coming together of the world's three leading lighting equipment rental companies has created a vastly improved production resource offering a huge inventory of modern lighting equipment maintained by highly skilled, experienced professionals from an extended network of operations located throughout Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Central Europe.
Panavision Lighting Asia Pacific, now PANALUX™, was formed in 1999 to service the growth in the international feature film market and to support the domestic film and television drama and commercial production industry.
We have the most extensive range of lamp heads, rigging and electrical distribution equipment capable of servicing any number of productions in the Australia / New Zealand region at the one time. PANALUX™ is the only motion picture lighting rental company in the region able to supply the volume of equipment that major features require.
We are one of the few Film Lighting Rental companies globally that undertakes electrical Testing and Tagging (P.A.T) in between each rental, aiming to set best practice compliance with the Australian and New Zealand electrical Standards.
In conjunction with our in-house engineering, fabrication and service departments; our camera, crane, audio and consumable sales divisions can service productions of any size, anywhere in the region. To facilitate this we have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Auckland and Wellington.
